President & Owner
Roy Alonso
Roy Alonso is the President and Owner of Cardinal Transportation, one of Central Ohio’s premier providers of luxury transportation and motorcoach services.
Since founding the company in 2000, Roy has transformed Cardinal Transportation from a small operation with just three vehicles into a respected transportation company with a diverse, company-owned fleet serving groups throughout Ohio and beyond.
Roy began his career washing buses before working his way through every level of the transportation industry. His dedication to operational excellence and customer service ultimately led him into leadership positions with The Ohio State University and the Central Ohio Transit Authority.
Throughout his career, Roy has worked extensively with Division I NCAA athletic programs, professional sports organizations, Fortune 500 companies, universities, government agencies, and private groups.
Roy is the recipient of the United Motorcoach Association Vision Award, recognizing outstanding leadership and contributions to the motorcoach industry.
General Manager
James Rismiller
For more than 18 years, James Rismiller has been an integral part of Cardinal Transportation’s success, helping shape the company into one of Central Ohio’s most trusted providers of luxury transportation and motorcoach services.
As General Manager, James oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, leading a dedicated team focused on delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional transportation experiences for every customer.
James brings extensive experience in transportation operations, logistics, fleet management, and customer service. Before joining Cardinal Transportation, he built his career supporting university transportation programs at The Ohio State University and the University of Alabama.
James works closely with President and Owner Roy Alonso to oversee fleet operations, driver management, scheduling, maintenance coordination, and customer satisfaction.
Known for his hands-on leadership style and attention to detail, James is passionate about building strong teams and creating efficient systems that keep Cardinal Transportation operating at the highest level.
